Cycle-Specific Strength for Big Watts
Targeted Mobility for Sustainable Aero Position
Structural Durability for Higher Mileage

Delivered through a progressive 6–8 week block designed to integrate strength work into real cycling endurance training.

Location: Achieve Functional Fitness
Time: Tuesdays @ 7:30pm (TBC)
Group Size: Limited (approx. 8–12 riders)
Session Length: 75 minutes

  • Weekly coached cycle-specific strength session within a progressive block

  • Full block structure provided via TrainingPeaks to integrate with your cycling training

  • Additional TrainingPeaks durability session to support tissue capacity and mobility within the plan

    Sessions are coached within a shared performance environment,
    allowing individual scaling with structured group progression.

Joe Watkins

  • UKSCA-accredited Strength & Conditioning coach with 12+ years working in high-performance sport

  • Lead Strength & Conditioning coach contributing to Paralympic gold medal-winning triathlon performance at Paris 2024

  • Currently delivering S&C within the British Cycling Olympic pathway (Track, Road & BMX)

  • Specialist in concurrent strength & endurance development

Joe created The Whole Way to bridge the gap between elite performance systems and the realities of committed everyday riders , integrating strength, endurance and intelligent recovery so performance can grow without breaking down. Alongside coaching, he continues to train and compete in cycling and triathlon challenges himself, ensuring the methods used are lived, tested and constantly refined.

This is a structured small-group performance block with limited spaces.
